My telephone was stolen at the hospital that I work at. I called and told them it was stolen and I would like to salvage my telephone number as I have all of my business and personal contact numbers in conjuction with my pictures of my family.

The operater told me that if I deactived the phone I could not retrieve my number. I have a police report. The telephone was stolen on New Years Eve. It took a little longer that I anticipated and on the fifth day I called and a Supervisor told me that my phone was deactivated.

I asked her to cross reference the serial numbers of my phone to prove that I was the rightful owner. She stated that my phone number hadn't been used for quite some time. Come on now five days. I am throughly disappointed in Net Ten's Customer Service.

Why would a loyal customer of multiple years be subjected to feeling violated? I am going to write to their corporate office on this manner.

I want my telephone deactivated and immobolized permanently. People need to learn a lesson when it comes to stealing other people's cellphones.

Monetary Loss: $80.

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Net 10 deactivated my tracfone that had 8,500 minutes on it and service days left. I'm old and only keep it for emergencies, so I never use my minutes and they carry over.

IT said it was deactivated because I illegally called Russia and that they have the ping from the tower. I never called Russia. They also said the phone had been deactivated once before, for the same reason. My phone was never deactivated before.

I've had this phone for years. What can I do about this.

Three different IT guys refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor. I'm thinking they stole my minutes, knowing that there would be nothing I could do about it.

Same thing happened to the 2 of us elderly family members who have cell coverage in 2 different States. We both have had each cell phone on an auto-recurring monthly basis and charges put on credit card on both phones for over a decade (10+ years) and THOUSANDS of minutes prepaid, as a result of the monthly recurring charges.

Net10 deactivated our phones, one phone had just been upgraded as they required to keep service active.

Is NET10 trying to "steal" customers minutes & money from those who use NET10 as their Emergency phone or do they want to force us to a higher priced plan when they are obligated under the current 200 minutes /month plans? Both are unconscionable!!!
