we have had net ten for a long time. I recently went to another carrier but had 2years of time and several hundred minutes left so my wife was using the phone. We recently loaned the phone to our daughter who added a 30 day card and cancelled out my long time I had left. They will do nothing to help. Net 10 is a criminal organization. They provide harmful telephone service and destructive customer care. And when I tried to switch to a new carrier they held my business line hostage for $70 2 payments of $35 and they still have not reactivated or released my business phone number. My phone number was completely ported over to my new carrier service and Net10 retroactive Lee deactivated it and pulled it back. Never buy a Net10 or straight talk... Read more

I was sold the wrong refill card, I paid 25.00. Online and over the phone was told that the card was invalid for my phone. I requested to have the 25.oo I already paid credited toward a refill card that would be valid. I was told that it was not possible, that I had to return it to the the store where I purchased it. The old phone was dropped during a rainstorm, and became inoperable, so I cannot give an exact quote as to the number of minutes I have on the phone. Where to start? Oh-I know- they stole fifty dollars from my roommate- who was paying on my bill. They declined her card three times ( but only listed two declines on my actual bill) but actually charged her card on one of those times. Was my phone activated when her card was charged? I never had much trouble with Net10 service until I switched to an LG phone. It drops every call I make. Doesn't matter what location I call from. I cannot make a call without having to call them back more than once. It happens 90% of the time. Terrible service. Terrible phone. Bought a $45.00 time card. Pre-paid plan was for $40.00. Card was not honored because it was $45.00. Said it did not match plan. Refused to add time to phone or a refund. Dishonest and unfair. What happened to my $45.00 plus my 911 ta and tax that equaled $49.78! I want my money back or the time put on my phone. Don't tell me to call the store I bought the card from. I am a person of modest means, don't need a phone for constant calls but see the value of a cell phone for emergency use. I finally purchased a cell phone (Samsung T401G) from Net10 about 7 years ago and have used 300 minute/60 day service cards for activation all that time. I purchased a $25 Net 10 card for my 17 year old son. When we tried to activate it said it was invalid for his phone, I called customer service and was informed I needed to purchase at least a $30 card for his type of phone. I couldn't return the unused card because of course the pin had been scratched off. Net10 claims "No contract' for their cell phone service, but if you go over a month without buying their service they deactivate your sim card (without even a courtesy email notification)! Then you have to go through (offshore) customer service to have them send you a new sim card and when it arrives you call them again to activate that.
