The worst plan and customer service on the planet! I understand if a few dropped calls here and there (once in a blue moon), but my internet not stable, always have to change APN settings. Customer care is NOT customer care. It's a bunch of script reading foreigners who do not have the technical skills. The only thing they are good for is NOTHING! I have had service with net 10 for over ten years. Had no real problems until the last two times I tried to add minutes. Two months ago I tried to add a 300 minute 60 day prepaid card with rollover. This phone is mostly a backup phone that rarely gets used and as such, I had built up 9,999 minutes. When I added the prepaid card, it gave me the 60 days, but the minutes remained @ 9,999. Made 2 calls to get my sim card. the computers they use must be very old, took almost 45 m each time for them to get info. got transfered 3 times on 2nd call, when they try to update my info, they say please hold on, it takes like 8 m each time they input info. they say I will have my sim card by friday, we shall see. guess thats what kind of service you get when its not from amercia. had service with them on my old flip phone, never had any... Just got an email telling me that my phone will no longer work in 13 days and my almost 4,000 minutes won't transfer. They want to force me to pay $35 a month in stead of $15 and get a different phone. What a rotten thing to do to a customer that has been with them for years. Several months ago my wife and I tried to call my mother who lives 13 miles from us. I have been able to call her for several years until lately. Net 10's tech people says there is no problem???? having 2 phones and both doing the same thing is a problem. My wife had an accident a week ago May 08 and couldn't even call 911. My phone quit functioning properly so I purchased a new phone and contacted Net 10 to transfer my service and phone number to my new phone. The representative that I spoke to and who assisted me barely spoke English and took forever to complete the process. I was told it could take up to an hour to transfer my service and perhaps longer. I was given a brand new motoE after she tried to activate with a $30.00 card. There's a $50.00 minimum activation charge (Not Disclosed) she purchased a $35.00 to add with other card. This phone has not made one call,not 1text or even one byte of data for $65.00 total?? The phone cost $120.00 and tax...... I've been purchasing net 10 phones and plans since 2008. March 13 2016 I purchased a Alcatel one touch and a $50 unlimited prepay plan. I noticed right away that I couldn't make calls or use internet or picture message only text message. I called net 10 from work due to me being unable to call on my new phone.
